Hi everyone, welcome to my seventh blog! This week I will be reflecting on a few resources that I read in the Module 7 lecture material of CST 300 Major ProSeminar alongside some of the tasks we had this week.
- Part 1: Final Video Project Planning Reflection
- In our meeting with my team this week, we discussed how to go about completing the Final Video Project. After considering a few different possibilities, we decided it would be best to split our project into five main parts: Introduction, Political, Technological, Economical, and Conclusion. Our topic, the AI race between the USA and China, has implications in all three of these sectors. I am tasked with writing the conclusion for the video, which means that I am responsible for recapping what's already been said alongside adding our group's own remarks regarding this race.
- Part 2: Summarization of the week's lecture
- In this week's lecture material, there are a lot of resources that are useful for curating presentations, a skill that is important for our final project. First, there is the rubric for the project. This document outlines more precisely what skills and content are expected. There is also a link to TED.com, an organization that has hosted a presentation for just about any topic imaginable. There is a humorous corporate comedy video titled "Life After Death by PowerPoint" Finally, there is a nice resource on visual aids and props that are useful when presenting physically or digitally.
That is all for this week, see you in my Week 8 post!
